Janitor Bernard has recently started his new job. He is living a life of solitude and suffers from insomnia. He cannot help but watch a resident of his estate throw things from the roof into the inner courtyard night after night and always at the same time. The mysterious woman who seems to sleep all day begins to evoke Bernard’s interest.

However, shortly after he becomes fully aware of his feelings, a small girl from the neighborhood arouses a terrible suspicion...
